Hope Cove has a small but excellent variety of places to eat and we are confident that you will not be disappointed with your choice.
Booking is recommended - where possible - even in the off season it can get busy.
We have tried to keep the menus up to date, but be sure to check out the respective websites for the latest information.
Food
Hope Cove has only one venue for food shopping, the General Store and Post Office where you can find the food basics and some alcohol.
The nearest food stores are the Coop in Marlborough, and Tesco and Morrisons supermarkets and specialist food stores in Kingsbridge.
The Hope Cove House restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday lunch. The every changing menu offers diners a great choice of freshly prepared food of the highest standards.
Lunch is served from 12 noon - 2:30pm
Menus change daily
Dinner is served from 6:00 - 8:30pm

The Cove is a very popular venue for events including live music, open mic, live TV sports events, as well as charity events.
The pub's restaurant offers a good selection of food and beverages for both indoor and outdoor dining. Vegetarian and vegan options are available in addition to a full children's menu.
Food is served 12 noon until 9pm.

The hotel's restaurant offers a good selection and food and beverages for both indoor and outdoor dining.
It's famous tea and scones on the terrace with the stunning views are ever popular, as are its 5 course dinner menus.
The Lobster Pod Bistro is a great addition to Hope Cove dining, with its fantastic views from each pod.
Opening hours are 12 noon–10pm. Last orders at 9pm.

The General Stores and Post Office, is popular for its takeaway fresh croissants, pasties, sausage rolls as well as ice creams.
